Long Thanh first handled a camera and produced his first photographs at
the age of thirteen

Has already participated in international exhibitions 21 times in various
countries in Europe, America and the Asian Pacific Won two gold medals
at the International Photographic Salon in Japan in 1988 and 1995, and
one silver medal at the International Photographic Competition in Holland
(FIAP) in 1993
Received the Award ACCU (Asian Cultural Center) in 1991
Received ten different national awards including gold, silver and bronze
medals and trophies
Had two photographs selected from world-wide photographic competition
(thousands entered) to appear in internationally published MILK series
of coffee-table books. His work appears in both the Family and Friendship
volumes of the trilogy and also appear in the accompanying calendars.
Has already been part of MILK exhibition in New York late last year (exhibition
is apparently coming to Australia later this year).
Currently works as an independent photographer.
Features in the latest Lonely Planet Guide To Vietnam with a full page
entry listing him (his studio) as a highlight 'thing to do' whilst in
Nha Trang.
